This week, we discussed the pros and cons of the Leadership Plans and how we can improve it.
Manettus has been busy. We sent two homerooms over to Horace Mann for tutoring. On Thursday, we had a state of the union activity and on Friday, we had a lesson on proper technology and social networking use.
We discussed the change of date of the Sadie's dance, it is set for March 23rd.
This week, we had a GLK-Related potluck and worked on teamwork through Indian wresting.
We had another great day helping over at Isaiah's House this Sunday. This week we are going to be further looking into new, better priory period ideas in order to improve our scheduled plans.
Last week the Media and Technology Committee produced another episode of Servite TV.
We also took more pictures during priory period.
We need all priors who haven't had a prayer service yet to please schedule one NOW. The week before Easter is already taken, but please try to find a good date within Lent. For all those who would like to have a second prayer service, we will finish all the priories who haven't had one yet and then get back to you. Also, we need to finalize our service projects and would like to hear some updates from the priors. If you haven't already been emailed by a CM member, please email Matthew Beaird or Nick Coad about the status of your service project.
On both 2/21 and 2/22, the Amideus priory ventured outside to get some fresh air and have some fun. After spending several weeks inside the homerooms, Amideus Priory went out to Courage Field and held 2 different activities.
The 1st activity was a 60v60 dodgeball match which involved the Alexis and Sostene priories. It was great fun and it let the students blow off some excess energy. It also helped strengthen and build our priory wide identity as the Amideus priory.
On 2/13 The Amideus Priory held a Mass on Ash Wednesday with the rest of the student body. Several Amideus students participated in the Mass. Mass seating was disciplined and a few students remained behind afterwards to help with the clean up. Overall it was a great show of unity.
