This week we will be making final decisions on the prayer service and will go from there, then we will be preparing for Ash Wednesday. We will be meeting with Mr. Talarico to discuss the distribution of the ashes. Priors who haven't responded to the email about the prayer service date will need to do so now. We need to schedule the rest of the prayer services, especially now that Lent is beginning and our focus is to teach more about the season.

Hugh Priory had Her Servants' Kitchen last week and used this opportunity to distribute the first round of blankets for our service project. In our meeting this week, we will be discussing how to make ourselves more efficient with regards to our service project.

The 3rd quarter formation theme for the Amideus Priory is Centrality of Christ. So on 1/31, our main activity was a worksheet we created on love and a Scripture reflection for 1 Corinthians: 13. We focused on love and the impact it has on our lives.

On 2/1 the students made GLK powerpoints. They split up individually and into the groups and worked on their specified knowledge. The powerpoints will be used later on as a study guide for the GLK quarter final.

The price of Winter Formal goes up starting today to $65 a person. Crush bottle sales start today and will go all week at break and lunch. Lastly, please get ready for the blood drive now and get the forms. If you are 16 you need a permission form, but everyone who wants to donate will need a kind of identification when they get to the drive.

The good ol' lads in the Sostene Priory were hard at work memorizing and learning the importance of their grade level knowledge. On Friday, the homerooms quizzed themselves on GLK and Gio's homeroom even made it out to the field to play some good ol' football.

On Thursday, Manettus split up into groups and filled out the entire country GLK. Each group of four students in a homeroom had four facts. On Friday, our homeroom played Apples to Apples.

This Sunday we are going to have our first opportunity for students to work with HSC outside of Servite at Isaiah's House in Santa Ana. This week we will be preparing the students for this day, as well as further explaining why this is important in priory. We will me sending out email updates as well as announcements to remind the students as well as any faculty that would like to attend.

The Athletics Committee helped get attendance for the recent sports games and hopes to put forth into action the first penalty kick activity this month.
