We are making a lot of progress on our new prayer Service with a new theme involving Lent and are excited to get it started. We are scheduling the prayer services with all priories who haven't had a prayer service yet and will finish collecting get well cards for Fr. Ed this week. We are also looking forward to seeing more service projects take off. We are also preparing for this weeks mass on Friday.

This week, we went over the elements of deliberate practice and showed a TED talk on innovation. Our main goal for this semester is not only to practice the leadership principles that we learn, but also to to impart them to the men in our homerooms. Students took well to the presentation and were able to answer (and ask) in-depth questions with examples and a clear understanding of the concept of deliberate practice.

Hugh will be volunteering at Her Servants' Kitchen this week. We are in the process of distributing blankets made by students during Priory as part of our service project.

The Media and Technology Committee created another episode of Servite TV last week, featuring robotics, theater, Trinity Corporation and Words of Wisdom.

We also took more pictures during priory period and will be uploading them to the gallery soon.

On Thursday, the Alexis Priory had a rock-paper-scissors tournament. On Friday, the seniors quizzed the freshman on the Cor Book to emphasize Grade Level Knowledge and Mastery of Self.

Last week, Blake and Mrs. Montgomery went to the convalescent home to make sure that our plans were still good to go. Our first visit is scheduled for Wednesday, February 6th. We are excited for our next priory period!

This week the Media & Technology Committee produced a short segment about Theology of the Body for Campus Ministry that will be shown on Tuesday.
We will have a full Servite TV episode on February 1st featuring robotics and other activities and events.

HSC is going very well. Thank you to everyone who has donated and hopefully very soon we will be going around to the different organizations with the clothes. This week in priory we are doing a "Personal Scavenger Hunt" as well as an in-depth leadership lesson on different scenes from the movie Miracle.

Two weeks ago we took finals and last week we began the new semester. This week we are planning on ways we can help organize the Academic Awards Assembly this year.

This is a big dance for everyone! Make sure to buy your tickets as soon as they are available! This is the first year that we will raise ticket prices if you buy them after the timeline that you are provided with. There will be plenty of notice and announcements. There is no reason why anyone should be charged the late fee. The dance is $55 per person.
