News from the January Dance

The dance went well, we had a decent turnout despite having finals coming up. The DJ was wonderful, the mints went over well. Our only issue was that there were mints all over the floor that had to be scrubbed off. It was hard work, but worth the success of another dance. Thank you to those of you who showed up!

Bonajuncta Priory 12-6,7-12

This week in priory, Bonajuncta held a GLK penalty kick tournament. For the activity students researched facts on their assigned countries and exchanged facts on other countries before they kicked. The activity gave students the opportunity to learn their assigned GLK in a different and creative way. Also through competition it promoted the aspects of sportsmanship and teamwork. The students really enjoyed the activity and it was a huge success.

Update for 12/3-12/7

This week Sostene continued to work on their teamwork skills by hosting mini Whist tournaments in their homerooms on Thursday. On Friday, students reflected on themselves to prepare for the Christmas season. They were asked questions that provoked a better understanding of self in regards to their surrounding community and faith. Ha. You thought this week's post would be in a funny accent didn't you?

Media & Tech - 12/3-12/7

The Media & Technology Committee produced another episode of Servite TV.

We also helped out the Academics Committee by creating an online form for signing students up for tutoring.
