This week during priory period Hugh continued watching "Miracle." Using a historical example, students continued to understand Necessity of the Other as it applies to sports. At then end of the period, PAL administered a survey as a follow up to the October pornography assembly.

Because our clothing drive got pushed back we are planning for a new event coming up after break. That is all.

The Athletics Committee collaborated with the Spirit Committee and made a video promoting the upcoming basketball season in order to gain attendance for the student section. In addition to plans for the second semester we have also compiled what has gone well with the obstacle course and how it can be improved if it were to be run again in the future.

Our homeboys in the Sostene priory were a little shaken up by a disaster drill that was thrown at them on Thursday, but my boys picked themselves up on Friday and sprinted straight into Whist practice. Cards were everywhere, and so were the tricks. Ya Boy Sostene developed those teamwork skills by reading their partners' actions and threw down the proper cards accordingly. Out.

We produced another episode of Servite TV this week.

On the first day of Priory this week we had a practice emergency drill. Originally, we had a prayer service scheduled from Campus Ministry, but because of the disaster drill the date of the prayer service was postponed for a date to be announced. On Friday, we started to learn more facts about our countries for our PK tourney in the coming weeks and set the lineups for the event. Students will exchange facts before they kick and be able to learn new facts about other homeroom countries.

Manettus has been very busy this past week. On Thursday, we practiced the proper evacuation techniques for an earthquake. In the Friday priory period, we watched Radio and Band of Brothers to reflect leading from the middle.

The Amideus Priory went over the concept of deliberate practice with all the homerooms. The priories then played whist with an emphasis on how they could use deliberate practice to improve their whist skills.

No new updates. Still working with the Media and Technology committee to set up a portal that would link students with tutors.

This week, Bonfilius took a quiz on grade-level knowledge to ensure that each grade level had accountability for what they were supposed to know. Not only did the quiz test their knowledge, it also reinforced it and required studying and review. Students in class had a positive attitude about the quiz and were excited to do well.
