This last Thursday in Priory we went outside and did a lying down crowd surfing activity. This activity was promote Necessity of the Other because each student had to trust their classmates to not drop them and to crowd surf them carefully. It was a meaningful and fun activity. On Friday we did a scenario game that showed the importance of not pre-judging people. After this activity we played Whist and went over more GLK. We are still just waiting on the students to get in their permission forms so we can begin our service project.

Basketball season started on a very high note! So far, attendance at basketball games has increased by 50000% and there has been a lot of energy at the soccer games, too. Wednesday night gets an 8/10 and Friday night gets a 7/10. There is still a lot of room for improvement and we are looking to increase attendance, consistency, and constant noise. Biggest game of the year Wednesday at Canyon against Canyon. We need our biggest crowd of the year. Also, the name "The Asylum" has been thrown around as a possibility.

This week in Manettus, we continued to work on our service project. Two homerooms went to Horace Mann to continue tutoring. On Thursday, we finished watching Radio and Band of Brothers with their themes of leading from the middle and on Friday we had a Grade-Level Knowledge day.

The Athletics Committee helped spread the word about increasing attendance at the two basketball games last week, with the help of the Spirit Committee. We also helped the Bonajuncta Priory last week with their GLK Penalty Kick Activity.

This week, Bonfilius made blankets for the homeless and practiced Whist. Bonfilius will be participating in a Whist Tournament that will be in this week's episode of Servite TV. In addition, two homerooms from Bonfilius walked over to John Marshall Park.

This week in the Alexis Priory we had a schoolwide disaster drill on Thursday. On Friday we made country brochures so that we could learn more about our priory's country. We are about to start our service project with a convalescent home, but we are still waiting on all the students to get their permission slips in.

After many requests, we have finally done it. Winter Formal at Knott's will have a new ride.... SILVER BULLET! The cost will go up $5 per person because of the new ride. But it'll be worth every penny :) Also the January Dance will be a sock hop in the gym on the 12th.

Basketball/soccer season is here! The dunk contest on Friday was successful to increase the buzz for the game Wednesday. The pump-up video will be shown Monday at break to the entire student body. Also, there will be cheer practice Tuesday at lunch. There was good attendance at the soccer game Friday against Yorba Linda, too. Flyers will be posted on Tuesday. for the basketball game.
