This weeks activity of the Marshmallow Challenge/Spaghetti Towers went well. We implemented some different motivation factors that we previously learned to get the students more involved.
Brothers Helping Brothers Program: We've found that more students are likely to participate if we just give them a packet and collect it every priory period. That being said, we are trying to come up with a more efficient way of getting to the students.

Amideus 11/15 and 11/16
Submitted by michael.stump on Sun, 11/18/2012 - 21:37On 11/15 Amideus practiced and learned the card game of Whist. The purpose behind this activity is to give students an example where they can tangibly see their skills growing in an activity with deliberate practice.
On 11/16 Amideus celebrated Mass with the rest of the school.

Submitted by Vinnie Magro on Tue, 11/13/2012 - 08:10After better communication with the Campus Ministry Committee we decided to wait until after Christmas Break to really push Her Servants' Closet. We will be meeting with CM after Thanksgiving Break to go over further details. The clothes that have already been brought in and the clothes that will be brought in will continue to be counted and sorted by HSC. This week we will be doing the "Spaghetti Towers" exercise which was pushed back because of the play.
Manettus Priory Periods 11/8-11/9

Last week, we discussed scheduling HSK and Horace Mann. The Valadez homeroom is going to Horace Mann this week. Lim and Valadez's homerooms are involved in HSK this week as well. On Thursday, we will have an activity regarding the presidency in the homerooms.
Bonfilius Week of 11/8-11/9

Sostene Weekly Update for 11/5-9

The play ignited further excitement as Grant Hodges, Sostene's very own PAL representative, played a key role in the production.
Spirit Announcements 11/12
