This priory we did a personality test to further learn about our self. This relates to Mastery of Self because to master yourself you need to know yourself. Also in the priory period we play a game of link tag which encouraged Necessity of the Other.

This week, Philip priory focused on the name game and we also dedicated a day to sharing our thoughts on the 9/11 attacks.

Today Manettus split up by grade level. Seniors went into the theater for a talk with Coach Toner, juniors were give their country to memorize, and sophomores had grade level knowledge and a priory garden information session.

On Thursday, the Alexis Priory went out to the field for a relay race run by the Athletics Committee. This activity promoted Necessity of the Other because each man was needed in order to finish the race. It also required Mastery of Self because each man had to push themselves in order to make the group finish in less time.

This week we've been learning each other's names in our priory periods. We also played indian wrestling out on the field with all the other homerooms.

During the week of 9/13, Sostene worked on getting to know more about the other men in ours homerooms in addition to learning about the invisible children movement. We played a team building game during one of our periods called "human knot". In this game, everyone held hands in a random pattern and had to work together to undo the "knot" of humans without unlinking hands.

This week, Bonfilius went to John Marshall the first time this year. We also focused on Grade Level Knowledge in class, when we were able to start learning about the countries assigned to the Sophomores. Many of us played a game that involved throwing a beach ball with different questions on it that the students would have to answer so they could learn more about each other.

Today the homerooms watched a clip from the documentary, The Human Experience. It was really a nice movie and the kids liked it.

Today Hugh took their quarter final while 5 hugh students went to the local Retirement center to engage in Hugh's 1st session of their Service Project. It was a really nice time meeting the Retirees.
