Priory Period 2/24/12

Today, Hugh took class outdoors and engaged in various games of Indian Wrestling. People competed with others from thier homerooms to find a Indian Wrestling champion. Others circled around them and took in the entertainment until it was thier turn to wrestle someone. It was a great way to end of the short week.

Priory Period 2/23/12

Today, Hugh had some fun going mini golfing on campus. Each homeroom worked hard on contructing a hole using cardboard, desks, and other various items found in thier rooms. They all tried to make the most difficult hole they could think of. Ap's and thier students when room to room playing these various holes. It was a fun filled day.

Priory Period 2/23/12

Today Raymond Howard's homeroom competed in the priory wide ultimate frisbee tournament, they lost, but due to a technicality, they won. Other homerooms worked on finishing their videos.

Today we had a very fun and graceful pep rally for the winter sports.

Today we reviewed Sophomore and Junior Grade Level Knowledge, names of fellow students, and Formation videos.

Priory Period 2/2/12

This week Hugh took to the field to play Ultimate Frisbee. Though it was a windy day, the fun reigned down on all 6 homerooms.

Amideus Update - 2/2-2/3

Members of the Amideus priory engaged in a great classroom activity to further the concept of "Knowing Your Men." Desks were pushed to the center of each classroom, forming a long table of sorts. Students rotated around the table very 3 minutes, asking the person accross from them a set of questions to start off the conversation and letting it go from there. Questions revolved around siblings, family, previous schools, talents, extracurricular activities, college plans, and more. All students left knowing each member of their homeroom significantly better.

Priory Period Update - 2/7/12 (Bonfilius)

The Bonfilius Priory has been very busy the past few weeks. The Bonfilius Priory continues to visit John Marshall Elementary School and teach P.E. homeroom by homeroom. Students have learned how to tie a tie (the right way) and last week practiced Etiquette by performing skits on how to treat women. Student's had an enjoyable time while learning the proper ways to treating a women just in time for Valentines Day!

Today we continued our work on the Formation video project. They are turning out great so far.
